Advanced Dairy Nutrition and Management Shortcourse

2020 Course is Virtual!

Due to COVID-19, we will not host an in-person event in Ithaca this year. This year's course will be hosted virtually with presentations from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. EDT daily from June 1 - 4, 2020 using the Zoom video conference tool. Each live presentation is 30 - 50 minutes long and will feature live Question & Answer (Q&A) sessions. All registered participants will receive links to electronic presentation materials and documents and recorded presentations.

2020 Agenda

The Dairy Nutrition Shortcourse and the Advanced Dairy Nutrition and Management Shortcourse are conducted in opposite years as a collaboration between Cornell University and Miner Institute with additional invited course faculty from other universities. 

The Advanced Dairy Nutrition and Management Shortcourse is conducted in even calendar years at Cornell University.  This shortcourse is designed primarily for experienced nutritionists and allied industry professionals seeking a more in-depth exposure to selected topics of emerging and continued interest relating to dairy cattle nutrition and management.  The course is conducted primarily in a classroom setting and provides substantial opportunities for attendees to network with each other and with course faculty in informal settings.

Past Course Proceedings

Proceedings for the Dairy Nutrition Shortcourse are available for purchase.  Materials from select courses are available in 3 ring binder format only at $75 each.  Due to shipping charges, there is an additional $20 charge per item for shipping outside of the United States.
